ABOUT VILLA ROSA
Villa Rosa was built by Kahuna Guatemala and designed and decorated by two renowned artists/interior designers. It has three beautiful bedrooms (one king, two queens) that all look out on to the pool and the palm trees beyond. It offers an open plan kitchen and lounge area full of artistic touches collected from across the globe, with books to enjoy.
One room offers a beautiful wooden desk for remote working. In Villa Rosa we offer some of the best Wi-Fi in El Paredón meaning you can work from the beach and start living your best life.
The house opens out onto a stunning pool, which is surrounded by a tropical garden with a huge array of plants and trees. In front of the pool you'll find a large table, perfect for big outdoor dinners to enjoy with family and friends.
Upstairs you'll find a large deck, ideal for relaxing in the hammocks or practicing yoga with mats available for use.

If you are interested in a private chef during you're stay, please do enquire as we have an incredible chef available on request (based on availability and with prior notice).
OUR STORY
Villa Rosa was designed on scraps of paper during the midst of the pandemic, as it offered an exciting escape from UK Covid lockdowns. We had originally bought the land back in 2016 when Ben was working for the local NGO, La Choza Chula, during a 4-year period. During that period he fell so in love with the village and local community that he always wanted to return and build his dream home. In 2022 we were able to start that process, working with local building team Kahuna. Together we sketched out plans for what Villa Rosa could be and then went to work making the dream a reality.
We want to share our home for others to enjoy whenever we are away from El Paredón. We hope you love this house as much as we do and we look forward to hearing about your time here.
As a result of Ben’s previous work, staying at Villa Rosa enables us to donate to local non-profit La Choza Chula, where we cover half of the librarian, Majo's, salary. This enables the library to continue it's full education programme, working with the primary school in the mornings and providing education opportunities in the afternoon when the school is closed.
